Jan. 25

Boxed wine was the first mistake: A driver was given a DUI at 10:10 a.m. at the corner of Southeast Fifth Court and 228th Avenue Southeast. A box of white wine was found in the vehicle.

Bombs away: A resident of Northeast Ninth Drive attempted to make a Molotov cocktail at 10:36 a.m. in the front yard. The person filled a bottle with alcohol, attached a paper towel to the bottle, lit it on fire and threw it on the ground, expecting it to explode. The bottle remained intact.

Jan. 26

Text-as:A juvenile resident of Southeast 45th Place received strange text messages from Austin, Texas at 8:36 p.m.

Jan. 28

Mailbox thief:A resident of Southeast Eighth Street reported at 2:30 p.m. that her entire mailbox had been removed. She said that it was locked and that there had likely been some mail in it.

Jan. 29

Larceny:Several mailboxes in the 1600 block of East Lake Sammamish Place were broken into sometime before 9:21 a.m. A pry tool had been used on the mailboxes.

Jan. 30

Pipe down: A man was causing a disturbance at 5:38 a.m. in a commercial parking lot on 228th Avenue Northeast. The man was seeing subjects that were not there and ran at a female with a silver metal pipe. He was determined to be a threat to others and was transported for a mental evaluation.

Grounded: A mother from 247th Place Northeast reported at 4:45 p.m. an inappropriate conversation that her daughter had over the internet.

Feb. 2

You’ve been annointed:At 1:11 p.m., a woman returned to her home on Klahanie Drive Southeast to find a small bottle of annointing oil on her front porch. She believed that the oil was placed there by her husband, against whom she has a court order that bans him from visiting her.
