Residents report more cases of package theft | Sammamish Police Blotter Jan. 9 – Jan. 15

The blotter consists of Sammamish police officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Jan. 3

ATM FRAUD: At 11 a.m., police responded to a reported ATM fraud by a resident at the 25200 block of SE Klahanie Blvd. The victim noticed several unauthorized transactions to his checking and savings accounts through Bank of America. The transactions happened via the victim’s debit card and occurred in California while the victim was still in Washington and in possession of his card.

HANGIN’ AROUND THE ATM: At 5:12 p.m., police arrested a suspicious male subject hanging around the ATM machine located in the Issaquah Pine Lake QFC parking lot, located at 2902 228th Ave. SE. The subject was found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and was booked into Issaquah Jail.

Jan. 6

FOUND PHONE: At 10:55 a.m., a black Samsung Galazy S6 was found and dropped off at the front desk of the Sammamish Police Department.

Jan. 7

STOLEN BIKE: At 2:49 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen at the Summerwalk Apartments, located at the 3800 block of Klahanie Dr. SE.

Jan. 8

CAR PROWL: At 2:01 p.m., a resident at the Boulder Creek condominiums, located at the 4400 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road SE, reported property was stolen from their unlocked vehicle.

Jan. 9

KICKIN’ THE HABIT: At 3:30 p.m., Sammamish maintenance personnel reported finding property in a garbage can along the Illahee Trail, located at the 23500 block of SE 8th St., that included drug paraphernalia and syringes.

Jan. 10

PACKAGE THEFT: At 9:36 a.m., an Amazon package was reported stolen from the front porch of a residence at the 2800 block of 233rd Place NE.

Jan. 11

CAR PROWL: At 2 p.m., police responded to a reported car prowl at Beaver Lake Park, located at the 2500 block of 244th Ave. SE. The rear driver’s side window of the vehicle was punched out and a purse was taken.

PACKAGE THEFT: At 8:45 p.m., a package was reported stolen from a front porch at the 4000 255th Place SE in Klahanie.

Jan. 13

STOLEN MONEY: At 11:16 a.m., a resident at the 25700 block of SE 40th St. reported money was taken from a nightstand in the bedroom of their home while they were out of town. A contractor had been doing work in their home.
