Ride the Issaquah Valley Trolley with Santa Claus

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27, Santa will be riding the Issaquah Valley Trolley. Kids will have an opportunity to tell Saint Nick what they want for Christmas, as well as to get their photos taken with the jolly fellow.

Also on Saturday during trolley hours, there will be a Play Date at the Issaquah Depot Museum. Kids will learn how to make Christmas ornaments based on vintage patterns, and the creations will be hung on the tree in the freight room.

The trolley travels between the Issaquah Depot Museum and Gilman Boulevard, giving passengers a glimpse into Issaquah’s pioneering past, when rail service was the major mode of transportation. Admission to the trolley also includes admission to the Issaquah Depot Museum, the Gilman Town Hall Museum and the historic jail.

This will be the last chance to ride the historic trolley in 2016. The summer 2017 trolley season will begin May 13, 2017.

The trolley boards at the Issaquah Depot Museum, located at 78 First Ave. NE, Issaquah. Tickets are $5.00 for everyone over five years old, and can be purchased in person at the museum. Tickets are cash only and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Kids five and under, as well as members of the Issaquah History Museums, ride the trolley for free.
