Teens caught having sex in church parking lot | Sammamish Blotter May 19-25

The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city of Sammamish. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

May 19

VAPING AT SCHOOL: A student of Skyline High School, 1122 228th Ave. SE, was found in possession of a vape pen on school grounds. The student admitted the vape contained THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana.

May 20

LARCENY: Someone stole a backpack in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive Southeast. The backpack contained a laptop and school books and papers. It was removed from an unlocked vehicle.

May 21

THREATS: A male threatened a friend in the 4200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway to damage the friend’s vehicle if the friend did not tell the male where is ex-girlfriend was.

May 22

DUI: Sammamish police arrest a driver for driving under the influence at Southeast 32 Way and Issaquah-Pine Lake Road.

OVERDOSE: A juvenile overdosed on LSD in the 23000 block of Northeast 18th Street and was taken to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah for treatment.

MAN HOLE: Man hole covers from the 4700 block of 239th Place Southeast were reported missing. It is unknown how they were removed.

THEFT: Someone stole a trailer from the Knolls Apartment complex, 22600 block of Northeast Inglewood Hill Road.

THAT’S A SIN: Two teens were caught having sex in a car in the parking lot of Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1121 228th Ave. SE.

May 24

GENITALS: A group of juveniles males were at the Sammamish Skate Park, 801 228th Ave. SE. One of the males was seen exposing his genitals.

May 25

SIMPLE ASSAULT: A son pushed his mother into a closet wall in a residence in the 24000 block of Southeast 21st Street. The mother suffered from a scratch on her arm that caused pain.
