Oct. 25
Shining a light on crime: A resident of 242nd Avenue Southeast reported at 6:43 p.m. that she came home to find the motion light on the side of her house had been activated. She did not see anyone, but she said that she is experiencing a chronic problem with an unknown prowler. The prowler enters through a gate on the south side of the house, walks through the backyard and shines a cell phone flashlight through the windows.

Eggs-pected better behavior: A homeowner of 211th Place Southeast reported at 2:30 p.m. that their house had been egged in March.
Oct. 27
Paparazzi: At 8:10 a.m., a parent reported that a suspicious person appeared to be taking photos of children being dropped off at an elementary school on Northeast 16th Street.
Oct. 29
Planting seeds of suspicion: A resident of Northeast Fifth Place reported insistent texting from an acquaintance to remove a plant at 11:26 a.m.
Oct. 30
Check on that: A resident of 235th Avenue Southeast reported at 1:47 p.m. that mail had been taken out of their unlocked mailbox. Among the stolen mail were Bank of America checks that were used in forgery.
Oct. 31
More mail stolen: At 11 a.m., it was reported that nearly every mailbox on a four-block stretch of East Lake Sammamish Shore Lane Northeast had been pried open and mail had been stolen.
In the black: A resident of 248th Place Southeast reported at 8:16 p.m. that their vehicle had been vandalized by black spray paint. It was unknown who had committed the action.
Nov. 2
Ring of thieves: A resident of 227th Avenue Southeast stated at 2:51 p.m. that her jewelry had been stolen by contracted movers.
