Woman reported sitting in porta-potty for over an hour | Issaquah Police Blotter June 16-18

The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city of Issaquah. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

June 16

PILLFERING: A person called police at 2:49 p.m. from the 4700 block of 194th Ave. SE to ask what kind of crime it would be if his mother stole his medication. Police responded that it would be a misdemeanor theft charge.

June 17

UNSAFEWAY: At 2:16 p.m., police were dispatched to the Issaquah Highlands Safeway, located in the 1400 block of Highlands Drive NE, where a juvenile was reported to be behaving manically and causing a disturbance. Police contacted the juvenile and settled the situation.

ALCOHOLLERING: A male with a bottle of alcohol in a paper bag was yelling at people around 3:55 p.m. on Northwest Alder Place. Police were unable to locate the man.

June 18

WAVE ON BY: The management of a business in the 6100 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE reported at 2:17 p.m. that they were worried because an ex-employee was repeatedly driving by the business and waving. The woman had left the business on good terms, and had never made any threats toward current employees. Police spoke to the woman.

CONSTIPATED: A report was made at 4:26 p.m. that a female had been sitting in a porta-potty in the 900 block of 12th Ave. NW for over an hour. Police contacted the woman, who said that she was waiting for her sister to arrive. She said she would wait at the bus stop instead of in the potty.

CLAPPA YOUR HANDS, STOMPA YOUR FEET: Police were called to the 200 block of NW Dogwood St. at 3:42 p.m., where a person was having trouble with her upstairs neighbor stomping around. The caller said that talking to her neighbor is like talking to a wall, and the stomper soon became belligerent with her. Police settled the dispute by talking to him.
