The story "Supplies running low at food banks, chairites" in The Reporter, May 8, 2009, incorrectly stated that charities such as the Eastside Baby Corner (EBC) and Issaquah Food Bank (IFB) "receive no government funding". This year the City of Issaquah gave $14,000 to the IFB through Issaquah Valley Community Services, and $10,500 to EBC. The City of Sammamish gave the EBC $6,000 in 2009, and IBC $2,000 for 2009 and for 2010. The Reporter applauds our local governments for their benevolent contributions.
