Quinton's 3 under par leads Skyline golfers to win over Inglemoor| Monday prep roundup

Jack Quinton shot a 3 under par, 34 at Inglewood Golf Club Monday afternoon to help Skyline defeat Inglemoor by 17 strokes.

Brian Mogg finished in second place with a 1 over par, 38 and Alex Yi finished in a tie for third with Inglemoor's Kyle Allar with a 3 over par, 40.

Eastlake cruises past Ballard

Eastlake claimed the top four spots Monday afternoon, beating Ballard by 33 strokes at Sahalee Country Club, 203-236.

Three Wolves finished in a tie for first place. Jack Fisher, Evan Alston, and Li Wang all shot 4 over par, 40s. Eastlake's Chris Kobak shot a 41 and finished tied for fourth with Ballard's Eric Frank.

Issaquah out-shoots Roosevelt

Issaquah claimed three of the top four spots Monday afternoon at Snoqualmie Falls Golf Course, beating Roosevlet by 11 strokes, 185-194.

The Eagles' Ben Halter shot a 2-under, par 34 to take the top spot. Aaron Tham was third with an even par, 36 and Bryan Jung shot a 1 over par, 37 for fourth place.

VOLLEYBALL

Issaquah volleyball grabs top spot in KingCo 4A

Rachel Roeder slammed down a season-high 29 kills and served up nine aces Monday, helping Issaquah defeat Woodinville in four games — 25-17, 22-25, 25-16, 25-13.

Senior setter Riley Sorenson also served up a season best 50 assists and added five aces. Senior Sara Hanna had 10 kills, Sam Rogers had seven and Jenna Pang had five.

The victory pushed the Eagles' record to 4-0 in league and 7-0 overall. They are currently tied with Newport (4-0, 7-0) for the top spot in the KingCo 4A.

Issaquah faces Skyline at 7 p.m., Wednesday at IHS.

Eastlake dropped by Garfield

Eastlake lost its fourth straight match Monday, falling to Garfield in four games — 27-25, 14-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Sarah Pellicano led the Wolves with 16 kills, 13 digs and four aces. Setter Kelly Logie had 31 assists, while Anna Gorman had seven kills and 10 digs.

Eastlake dropped to 1-4 in league and 2-6 overall with the loss.

Newport blanks Skyline

Newport made quick work of Skyline Monday night, defeating the Spartans in three sets — 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

The Knights were led Gwen Gillies' 15 kills and 10 digs.

Maddie Magee paced the Spartans with 10 kills, while Madison Stoa had 18 assists and 11 digs.

Skyline fell to 1-3 in league and 4-4 overall with the loss.
