Issaquah outlasts Inglemoor for playoff berth, 40-24 | Football

Jack Gellatly rushed for three touchdowns and Reed Peterson caught two TD passes Friday as Issaquah defeated Inglemoor 40-24 in a loser-out crossover game. The Eagles (7-2) secured the fifth seed from the KingCo 4A and will travel to face the No. 1 seed from the Greater St. Helens League, Skyview (7-2), next Friday or Saturday in the state-qualifying round of the 4A playoffs. Gellatly put the Eagles on the board first with a 17-yard TD run. Quarterback Ethan Kalin found Peterson for TD passes of 59 and 25 yards, helping Issaquah to a 20-17 halftime lead. Kalin found Derek Chapman for a 54-yard score in the third quarter and Gellatly tacked on two short fourth-quarter TDs as the Eagles pulled away.
