Skyline boys bounce Redmond, 58-44 | Wednesday prep roundup

Three Skyline players scored in double figures Tuesday en route to a 58-44 victory over Redmond.

Lucas Shannon led the way with 19 points, Will Parker added 16 and Nick Kassuba scored 15.

The Spartans improved to 1-0 in league and 3-0 overall.

Eastside Catholic suffers first loss

Eastside Catholic held a large halftime lead over Franklin on Tuesday, but couldn't hang on, falling 56-53.

The Crusaders led 32-16 over the Quakers at the half, but were outscored 40-21 in the second half. Joey Schrieber led Eastside with 21 points and Chevy Walker added 11.

The Crusaders moved to 3-1 in league and 4-1 overall.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Holy Names puts up 90 in win over Eastside

Holy Names had no trouble with offense Tuesday night, rolling to a 90-53 victory over Eastside Catholic.

The Cougars were led by Sophie Reichelt and Olivia Vincent, who scored 27 and 25 points, respectively.

Eastside's Michaela O'Rourke led all scorers with 29 points.

The Crusaders dropped to 0-4 in league and 2-4 overall.
