The Eagles managed only four hits and committed a pair of miscues in the field as Redmond completed an improbable turnaround after losing its first seven games to capture the 4A KingCo title with a 7-0 win.

Issaquah will take the second seed to the state tournament at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 19 and will face the fourth seeded team from bi-district 3/4.

The Crusaders got a game high four goals from Colin MacIlvennie and three more from Peter Kimball in the win to finish the regular season with a record of 11-3 and in third place of the Northeast Conference.

Track and field

KingCo meets conclude today

The 4A KingCo track and field meet will concludes today at Juanita High School.

Field events begin today at 3:30 p.m. and the meet continues throughout the evening. Top finishers from the conference will move on to compete in their respective district meets for state berths.
