Skyline's Pelluer headed to Washington State
Skyline linebacker Peyton Pelluer, a senior for the upcoming season, has committed to Washington State University for the class of 2013.
Eastside Catholic's Iwicki competes at National Dual meet
Eastside Catholic student Matt Iwicki went a combined 15-1 in freestyle and greco wrestling at the Cadet Dual Nationals in Daytona, Fla. recently.
The state-placer for the Crusaders defeated competitors from around the nation at the 120 pound weight class.
Law enforcement taking to boats for Operation Dry Water
Law enforcement around the region and state will take to the water June 22-24 for Operation Dry Water, emphasizing and enforcing boating under the influence laws.
“Boat operation under the influence is a serious problem that too often results in recreational boating fatalities,” said Mark Kenny, Washington State Parks’ spokesperson for Operation Dry Water. “We want people to have fun on the water, so this campaign is focused on zero tolerance for boat operators who are under the influence.”
Eastlake Little League Majors tournament goes to Pirates

The Pirates won a pair of Eastlake Little League championships, capturing the regular season and tournament titles.
