Three Eastlake runners, led by junior Jordan Oldenburg, finished in the top 26 at the 4A district meet at Lakewood High School on the boys side to help the Wolves to a third place team finish and earn only the second state berth in school history.

Kyle Suver was 21st and Caleb Olsen finished 26th for the Eastlake boys, which will head to the state tournament with a full compliment of runners after earning the best finish among KingCo schools at the meet.

Kamiak took first place and Jackson was second.

Keegan Symmes of Skyline was the highest local finisher in third place and teammate Grant Uselman was 22nd.

Hunter Sapienza was 37th for Issaquah.

For the girls, Issaquah Cayla Seligman earned the highest individual finish in ninth place and was followed by teammate Ellie Clawson in 14th.

Anastasia Kosykh was 26th for Eastlake, which was fifth in the team scoring, just ahead of Skyline and Issaquah.

Magnum Abbot, Maizy Brewer and Caitlin McIlwain were the top finishers for the Spartans.

The 4A boys and girls state championships are November 3 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
