Sammamish Rowing Association wins half its races at Regional

The Sammamish Rowing Association brought home gold, silver and bronze medals in 29 out of 58 races at the Northwest Regional Regatta May 15-17 in Vancouver, Wash. Five SRA boats qualified for this weekend’s U.S. Junior Rowing National Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Britta Perkins and Milan Vu will compete in the women’s youth lightweight two-person race, and Kalila Beehler and Allie Struzyna in the women’s youth two-person race. SRA also has teams in the women’s youth lightweight eight-person division, the mens youth lightweight eight-person division and the mens youth eight-person division.
About 115 students from several local high schools participate in SRA Crew during the fall and spring seasons.
