15th annual Beaver Lake Triathlon to take place Aug. 16

The 15th annual Beaver Lake Triathlon will take place at 7:45 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 16.
The event features a 1/4-mile swim, 13.8-mile bike ride and a 4.3-mile run. The course takes athletes northeast over the scenic Duthie Hill Road with views of the Cascades, Mt. Si, and the Snoqualamie Valley.
Registration is $70 Aug. 8-14 and $75 Aug. 15. Senior citizens 60 and older or youth 17 and under receive a $5 discount.
