Swimming |Eastlake takes ninth at league meet

Eastlake nabbed the highest finish of area schools at Saturday's KingCo championships. The Wolves finished in ninth place with 211 points. Skyline edged rival Issaquah by one point for 10th place, with 179 points. The Eagles finished in 11th with 178 points. Skyline's Alex Palumbo was the only athlete from the three schools to nab a top three finish. He took third in the 500 freestyle in a time of 4 minutes, 58.72 seconds. The Sea-King District 2 meet runs Feb. 13-14 at Juanita Pool.
