Issaquah grapplers split double dual meet

Issaquah split a pair of matches Tuesday night, beating Inglemoor 38-28, and falling to Woodinville 47-10.

The Eagles earned a key pin from Taylor Evans at 152 pounds to seal the victory over Inglemoor. He escaped a pin, then pinned Cody Peterson with 14 seconds left in the match. Jordan Tanner (135), David White (140) and Joseph Tonnemaker (145) all picked up decisions for Issaquah.

The Eagles picked up a pin from John Mele at 103 pounds, and a major decision from White to earn their only points against Woodinville.
