Issaquah nabs KingCo title

The Issaquah Eagles girls Cross Country team captured first place at the KingCo 4A meet on Oct. 22 at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. The Eagles, who compiled 32 total team points (low score wins in cross country) defeated Mount Si (60) by a staggering 28 points. Eagles’ junior Kenna Clawson captured second place individually, clocking a time of 18:50.52, Sami Corman finished in third place with a time of 18:58.34, Katie Riley earned fifth place with a time of 19:09.81 and Andie Kolasinski nabbed eighth place with a time of 19:16.35.

Eastlake earns third place at KingCo meet at Lake Sammamish State Park

The Eastlake Wolves girls cross country team nabbed third place at the KingCo 4A meet on Oct. 22 at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. The Wolves tallied 83 team points. Pia Richards captured ninth place individually with a time of 19:23.65.

Spartans take first place at KingCo 4A meet in Issaquah

The Skyline Spartans boys cross country team captured first place at the KingCo 4A meet on Oct. 22 at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. The Spartans, who compiled 57 team points edged out second place Issaquah (63 points) by just six points. Skyline’s William Kimball finished in seventh place individually, clocking a time of 16:32.57. Makennan Hurd nabbed ninth place with a time of 16:34.42.

Issaquah nabs second place finish at KingCo 4A meet

The Issaquah Eagles tallied 63 team points en route to a second place finish at the KingCo 4A meet on Oct. 22 at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. Luke George finished in fourth place individually for the Eagles with a time of 16:19.42. Jared Putney took eighth place with a time of 16:32.92.

Eastlake athlete nabs second-place finish

Eastlake Wolves junior Nate Pendleton cruised to a second-place finish individually at the KingCo 4A meet on Oct. 22. Pendleton finished the 5,000 meter course in 15:31.66. Mount Si’s Joe Waskom captured first place with a 15:30.66.

Falcons defeat Spartans in overtime thriller on the gridiron

The Woodinville Falcons defeated the Skyline Spartans 42-35 on Oct. 20. The Falcons clinched the Class 4A KingCo regular season title with the win. Skyline (6-2) will host the Issaquah Eagles at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Skyline High School in Sammamish.

Crusaders get back in the win column with victory against Bainbridge

After suffering a 20-17 loss against O’Dea on Oct. 14, the Eastside Catholic Crusaders got back in the win column with a 56-27 win against the Bainbridge Island Spartans on Oct. 21 in Sammamish.

The Issaquah Eagles registered a 3-0 victory against the Eastlake Wolves on Oct. 20. Issaquah improved their overall record to 11-1-2 with the win. Eastlake dropped to 8-5-1.

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders nabbed a 3-0 win against the Garfield Bulldogs on Oct. 20. Eastside Catholic improved its overall record to 5-9-2.
