Issaquah volleyball goes 1-2 at 4A state tournament

The Issaquah volleyball team went 1-2 at the 4A state volleyball tournament Nov. 22-23 in Yakima. The Eagles opened the tournament with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 18-25, 9-25) loss to the Tahoma Bears, the eventual state champions. Later that day, the Eagles beat the West Valley (Yakima) Rams 3-1 (20-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-19) to play for a spot in the seventh/eighth-place game. The Issaquah volleyball season came to an end with a 3-1 (17-25, 25-19, 23-25, 22-25) loss to the Richland Bombers on Nov. 23.
