Issaquah fends off Pasco, fights for fourth place Saturday

Issaquah's Erin Nicol fights through a fiesty Pasco defense Friday afternoon. The Eagles toughed out a 52-50 win over the Bulldogs to guarantee no worse than seventh place in state. They play Auburn Riverside at 1:30 p.m.

Issaquah defeated Pasco 52-50 Friday afternoon behind Alexa Smith’s 14 second-half points. Smith scored the go-ahead bucket with 1:08 left in the game and grabbed a key rebound as time expired to move the Eagles into the fourth-seventh place game at 1:30 p.m., Saturday against Auburn Riverside.
