Learn about nature, art in Sammamish

The Sammamish Arts Commission will host an evening of art and nature starting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 17.

Artist Hannah Viano will tour her exhibit, “Come Sit a While” in the Commons Gallery at Sammamish City Hall. The display offers modern portrayals of locally inspired flora and landscapes.

Bellingham poet Anita K. Boyle follows at 7 p.m., with a conversation about nature and poem in the Sammamish Library. Sammamish Parks Commissioner Judy Petersen will also talk about trails and hiking opportunities in the area.
