Baseball

Issaquah 3 Redmond 1

Senior starting pitcher Brandon Mahovlich moved his record to 5-0 on the year with a complete game four hitter and break Redmond’s 12 game win streak.

Mahovlich allowed only a single run on four hits while striking out nine and walking none.

Jack Gellatly knocked in two and Jake Bakamus had one RBI while Ethan Kalin also checked in with a pair of hits.

Issaquah 14 Mount Rainier 1

It took only four and a half innings for the Eagles to get the win after a 10 run bottom half of the first.

Danny Rawlings, Ethan Kalin, Kyle Thomas and Ryan Dixon all had multiple RBI as Dixon belted a grand slam.

Justin Vernia got the win going four innings and allowing ibe run on two hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

The wins over Mount Rainier combined with a Skyline win over Newport ensures the Eagles will be on-hand for the 4A KingCo tournament.

Skyline locked up the division title with the 2-1 win over the Knights and will face Issaquah today in the regular season finale.

Boys lacrosse

Skyline 12 Mukilteo 12

Ryan Benz led the way with three goals and Jack Pruitt added two more in the win.

Issaquah 9 Oregon Episcopal 3

Ben Director paced still unbeaten Issaquah with five goals and the Eagles never trailed in the win.

Eastlake 15 Puyallup 7

Davis Caldwell scored four goals to help Eastlake to the win.

Girls tennis

Interlake 6 Liberty 1

Isabelle Long, Melissa Long and Iryna Strenytska won singles matches and the Saints swept the doubles matches to get the win.

Boys soccer

Skyline 5 Bothell 0

Jason Twaddle scored a pair of goals and Kaleb Strawn and Ryan Shim also netted scores as the Spartans cruised to the win.

Zach Anselmi and Ben Morgan combined on the shutout in goal for Skyline.
