Issaquah Police honored in Olympia, D.C. after shooter incident

The Washington State Law Enforcement Medal of Honor Committee recently honored the officers that responded to the Issaquah shooter last fall.
Cpl. Christian Munoz, Officer Laura Asbell, Officer Jesse Petersen and Officer Brian Horn received state’s highest law enforcement award, the Washington State Law Enforcement Medal of Honor.
The corporal and officers were honored May 4 at the Law Enforcement Memorial site in Olympia.
In addition to the four, Officer Tom Griffith and and Sgt. Chris Wilson will also received an Honorable Mention award during the annual TOP COPS Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on May 12.
