High winds force Sammamish to close two city parks

The City of Sammamish announced Monday afternoon that it has closed Pine Lake Park and Beaver Lake Preserve due to high winds and the danger of falling branches.

The City is uncertain when the parks will reopen.

Heavy rain and windy conditions remain in the forecast through this evening.
