Eastlake’s De Stefano commits to Whitman

Eastlake senior Jackson De Stefano will continue his education and baseball career at Whitman College in Walla Walla after finishing his final prep season for the Wolves in the spring.

De Stefano also plays for the Seattle Titans and has completed coursework at Bellevue College.

Nathan Swanson, Kody Nguyen, Justin Manipis, Joseph DeMatteo and Joseph Gurke pinned their opponents to lead the Spartans to the win over Newport.

Tristan Steciw, Alex Smith and Sean McAlhaney won by forfeit while Boden Longmore, Michael Mechem and Cyrus Sarkosh (major) won decisions.
