Eastlake sophomore wins writing award

Taylor Ryland, a sophomore at Eastlake High School, received a silver medal in persuasive writing, in the 2013 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards program. Award winners were chosen by panels of creative professionals as the most talented young artists and writers in the nation. Ryland’s wrote on “The Negative Effects of the Industrial Revolution.”
