Issaquah-based PetHub announced July 12 it closed a round of “Series A Funding” with a total of nearly $1.7 million in investments.

The company, launched in September 2011 by Tom Arnold, makes software that helps reconnect lost pets with their owners. PetHub puts codes on tags, that when scanned take people to the pet’s online profile.
