Snowflake Lane: 7 p.m. A nightly display along the sidewalks of Bellevue Way and Northeast Eighth Street of dazzling lights, music, dramatic drumming from live toy soldiers and magical snow. Free.

Nov. 29-Jan. 5

Les Misérables: The world’s longest running musical takes you to the streets of Paris as revolution and love play out their battles for those who dare to dream of something more. $33-$68. Village Theatre, Francis Gaudette Theatre, 303 Front St. North, Issaquah. villagetheatre.org

Chaplin’s Bellevue Subaru Ice Arena: Region’s largest open-air holiday ice skating experience. Venue offers shelter for all-weather skating, seasonal food and beverage concessions, music from STAR 101.5, and a series of special events including Stroller Skate Thursdays, STAR 101.5 Family Skate Day and Skate with the T-Birds Day. $12 (includes $3 skate rental). Discount for those 6 years and under – $8 (includes skate rental). Bellevue Downtown Park.

Nov. 30-Jan. 4

Garden d’Lights: 5-10 p.m. (last entry at 9:30 pm). Thousands of lights form animals and plants. Hot beverages available at the Shorts Visitor Center. $5, but some nights free. Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St., Bellevue.

Dec. 1-23

Issaquah Reindeer Festival: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meet Santa, see and feed his reindeer team, sit in the Grand Traveling Sleigh, hear a story from an elf, shop for gifts, enjoy hot drinks and snacks. $10-$14 donation; children under 2 are free. Cougar Mountain Zoo, 19525 S.E. 54th St., Issaquah.
