State Rep. Larry Springer, D-45, whose represents the Sammamish area, shares the title for fewest floor votes missed in the Legislature.

Over his 10 years in the Legislature, including 19 regular and special sessions, Springer only missed two votes out of approximately 7,000.

“My constituents elected me to go to Olympia and make decisions on their behalf,” Springer said. “Decisions are made by voting. I’m just doing my job.”

Springer shares the record with Rep. Pat Sullivan, D-Covington. Both representatives were elected in 2004.
