Eastlake debate students qualify for state tournament

The Eastlake High School Speech and Debate team turned in another strong performance this season. A record 10 students qualified for the State Forensics tournament, which will take place at the University of Puget Sound March 15.
The state qualifiers and their categories are:
- Impromptu: Ross Coken, Ian Cooper, Ryan Holmdahl, Ryan Lundberg, Andy Mohajeri and Nick Randolph
- Interpretive Reading: Tommy Derezes
- Expository: Colton Hemphill and Greg Lauer
- Oratory: Madelyn Mendlen
