Tomato talk set for Sammamish

Tomato gurus and Master Gardeners Wally Prestbo and Marcia Dillon will teach Sammamish residents the basics of tomato care, starting varieties from seed, choosing types to suit our climate, planting, and troubleshooting pests and diseases.

Prestbo, a Sammamish resident, co-manages tomato trials with Dillon at the Bellevue Urban Demonstration Garden. Prestbo also has an extensive home vegetable and fruit garden and Dillon experiments with tomato grafting and breeding.

The event will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. April 9 at Sammamish City Hall.
