Host of local netters headed to USTA Sectionals after winning local titles | Community sports news

Three teams based out of Bellevue’s Robinswood Tennis Center are headed to the United State Tennis Association sectional tournament, after capturing local titles recently.

Robinswood will send a men’s and women’s 2.5 team, as well as a women’s 3.0 team, to Spokane in August.

The teams are all coached by Robinswood tennis pro Jason Chapman and include several players from Issaquah and Sammamish.

Amy Huish (Sammamish) and Michelle Moskos (Issaquah) are part of Women’s 3.0 “Team Lilley.” (Pictured above)

Neil Lapinsky (Sammamish) is part of the Men’s 2.5 “Team Schmid.”

Betty Lee (Issaquah), Asa Watts (Issaquah), Zuleika Deciga (Issaquah) and Madalena McAllen (Sammamish) are part of the Women’s 2.5 “Team Gertmenian.”
