Swedish Issaquah opened its doors for “Holidays at the Hospital” on Dec., 8, giving local families a chance to meet Santa, enjoy a pancake breakfast, participate in a teddy bear clinic, mingle with characters from the Grinch and Frozen, and decorate a life-size gingerbread house.
Other activities included cookie decorating, face painting, writing letters to Santa, along with exploring fire trucks and meeting Eastside Fire and Rescue representatives.
Helping people get into the Christmas spirit were performances by Northwest Symphony Trombones and Issaquah High School Harmonic Tones.
