Issaquah’s Tiger Mountain Winery receives third double-gold medal

Issaquah-based Tiger Mountain Winery received its third double-gold medal for its 2012 Cuvée Noir (a Rhône-Style blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault) in the 15th annual “Wine Press Northwest’s Best of the Best Platinum” judging.
From Oct 21-23, nine nationally acclaimed wine professionals gathered at the Clover Island Inn in Kennewick for the three days of judging. This latest recognition follows four other awards for this same wine including:
May 8 – “Best of Class” Gold Medal – Riverside International Wine Competition.
June 3 — Double Gold Medal – Seattle Wine Awards.
April 2 — Double Gold Medal – Great Northwest Wine Competition.
June 3 —Silver Medal – Sunset Magazine (published Oct 2014).
The wine will be available for tasting at the Friday, Feb. 6 during the Issaquah Wine Walk, supporting the Downtown Issaquah Association.
