Sammamish Police Department will collect toys for needy children through Dec. 10

The Sammamish Police Department has already gathered a pile of new and unwrapped items donated for Toys for Tots, a nonprofit effort supported by the city of Sammamish since 2005.

The police department will continue accepting donations at Sammamish City Hall during regular hours of operation through Dec. 10.

The U.S. Marine Corps sponsors the collection.

City hall is located at 801 228th Ave. S.E.
