The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and incidents in the cities of Issaquah and Sammamish. Anyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Jan. 22

GUZZLER: Gas was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Front St. S.

BONUS PURCHASE: An employee of a store in the 1400 block of 10th Way NE reported a customer found a small bag of drugs in the pocket of a pair of ski pants he had been trying on. An officer disposed of the bag and its contents.

Jan. 23

BOMB THREAT: At 9:57 a.m., police responded to a bomb threat in the 1500 block of 11th Ave. NE.

PROPANE AND PROPANE ACCESSORIES: A business in the 1000 block of NW Gilman Blvd. reported the theft of propane tanks. The complainant reported a $1,120 loss from stolen and damaged tanks.

Jan. 24

TOOL CRIME: Tools were reported stolen from a location in the 2100 block of Shy Bear Way NW at a loss of $680.

Jan. 25

DUI: At 12:41 a.m. in the 200 block of Mountain Park Boulevard SW, a 35-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.219, more than twice the legal limit.

SMASH: At 9:47 a.m., a person reported the window had been broken on their vehicle parked in the 100 block of West Sunset Way.

Jan. 26

TRESPASSING: At 3:09 p.m., an officer arrested a 32-year-old Tukwila man for trespassing on a property in the 1400 block of Highlands Drive NE.

BURGLARY: A person in the 500 block of First Ave. NW reported the theft of rubber trap bags and a fuel card valued at $600.

Jan. 27

LOOK IN THE BASEMENT OF THE ALAMO: An $800 bicycle was reported stolen from a location in the 4600 block of W. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.

BENJAMIN FAKELIN: An employee of the Safeway on Northwest Gilman Boulevard reported a man had attempted to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill. The suspect was gone by the time an officer arrived.

SUSPENDED: Police arrested a 25-year-old Issaquah woman found to be driving on a suspended license in the 1500 block of NW Maple St.

RING: A $5,000 ring was reported stolen from a location in the 700 block of NE Blakely Drive.

Jan. 28

WARRANT: A 21-year-old Issaquah man was arrested in the 18300 block of SE Newport Way for an outstanding warrant.

YOU’RE SO VAIN: A $25 mirror was reported stolen from a location in the 600 block of NW Gilman Blvd.

UNLOCKED: A pocketbook, iPod and cellphone were reported stolen from a locker in the 5700 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.
