Nearly $5,000 in goods stolen from vehicle | Issaquah Police Blotter Feb. 19-24

The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and incidents in the city of Issaquah. Anyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Feb. 19

JETSET THEFT: At 9:58 p.m., a passport was reported stolen from a Toyota Prius parked in the 300 block of NW Dogwood St.

FORT KNOX IT AIN’T: At 11:16 a.m., a person reported a theft from their BMW M3 parked on the 1000 block of NE Lupine St. Jewelry, clothes and a gym bag were stolen at a reported loss of $4,820.

Feb. 20

CATFISHING: An officer investigating a threats complaint contacted a family on Wildwood Boulevard Southwest. A boy advised someone had opened a Facebook account in his name and used it to send threats to others. The boy’s mother said she would contact Facebook to have the account removed.

ASSAULT: At 2:55 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Sunset Way, police arrested a 29-year-old Seattle man for assault in the fourth degree.

Feb. 21

THE LOST WEEKEND: At 12:08 p.m., an officer observed a heavily intoxicated woman on the corner of Front Street North and East Sunset Way. The officer called emergency medical personnel to examine her before a taxi took her home.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: At 12:51 a.m., a person calling from Highlands Drive Northeast reported $200 damage to the window on a Honda Element.

Feb. 22

VIOLATOR: At 11:10 a.m. in the 900 block of NE Ingram Way, a 34-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for violating a restraining order.

HE’S A KEEPER: A West Lake Sammamish Parkway SE resident reported a man she had met on Match.com had repeatedly called to ask for wire money transfers under strange circumstances.

Feb. 24

ASSAULT: At 5:38 a.m., an assault was reported in the 2000 block of NW Boulder Way Drive.

MOVING VIOLATION: A 34-year-old Seattle man was arrested for a traffic violation at 3:46 p.m. in the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.
