A soccer stalemate

In the final regular season game of the 2016 season, the Skyline Spartans and Issaquah Eagles boys soccer teams battled to a 1-1 draw on April 29. Issaquah scored in the 28th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Skyline tied the game on a McKinley Fodness goal (Kendrick Lu assist) in the final minutes of regulation. Skyline finished the 2016 regular season with an overall record of 11-1-2, including a KingCo record of 7-0-1 to clinch the regular season league championship.
