Stephens earns first place at Junior Olympics

Issaquah Eagles track athlete Nikki Stephens, middle, (pictured at the Class 4A 2015 state track meet) earned first place in the women’s 17-18 heptathlon division in late July at the 2016 USATF Junior Olympics National Championships at California StateUniversity in Sacramento.

Stephens, who will be a senior during the 2016-17 school year, tallied a total of 4,857 points at the meet. Ariel Okorie finished in second place with 4,828 points.
