Missing Sammamish man found in Portland

A Sammamish man who was reported missing in Gresham, Oregon was found yesterday in Portland and is on his way back home.

Gresham Police said 69-year-old Sammamish resident Thomas Walker was found in northeast Portland after his wife reported him missing on Sunday.

Walker was in Gresham competing in a swimming competition at Mt. Hood Community College. He left the school around 8 a.m. Sunday and had not been seen or heard from since.

Family and friends were worried about Walker because he has a heart condition and was without his medication.
