Trufant, Sea Gals come to Sammamish for Blue Friday event

Former Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant turned out to the Shell gas station on 228th Avenue Southeast in Sammamish with the Sea Gals and Seahawks mascot, Blitz, to celebrate Blue Friday on Sept. 23.

Cars lined up as Shell rolled back gas prices to 23 cents per gallon, corresponding with Trufant’s jersey number, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The event was hosted by Shell, the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle classic rock radio station 102.5 KZOK.
