More than 2,000 people wandered through Sammamish Commons Plaza for the city’s annual Rig-A-Palooza event on May 20.

The free event, showcasing vehicles such as fire engines, utility trucks and school busses, invites children and families out for an afternoon discovering how the city of Sammamish keeps its “city safe, clean and FUN-ctioning,” according to a city announcement.

Children also played on bouncy houses and others took time out to snack on food from nearby food trucks.

The event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
