The Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank is looking for volunteers and donations for its annual Holiday Gift Barn.

During the first full week of December, Issaquah’s Pickering Barn becomes Santa’s toy shop, offering gifts for families who have trouble making ends meet during the Holiday Season. The program serves 1,200 children in the Issaquah School District each year.

Parents are able to choose three to four gifts for their children in addition to stocking stuffers. A wrapping station is provided, as well as child care, so that the gifts can stay a surprise until Christmas morning.

Donations can be turned in at the Pickering Barn between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 5. Please do not bring the gifts to the Issaquah Food Bank.

Nearly 100 volunteers are needed at the Gift Barn every day of the fundraiser. There will be volunteer opportunities for children as young as 12.

To register as a donor, volunteer or client, and to see a full list of gift ideas, visit https://issaquahfoodbank.org/holiday-gift-barn.

The Pickering Barn is located at 1730 10th Ave. NW, Issaquah.
