Person vandalizes fence by climbing over it | Sammamish Police Blotter

The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city of Sammamish. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Jan. 8

Harassment at high school: An anti-harassment order was served at 7:27 a.m. at Eastlake High School, located on 228th Avenue Northeast.

Pushing and shoving: Police were called to a juvenile disturbance at Eastlake at 9 a.m. One student had pushed the shoulder of another student.

Jan. 9

Vampires: During an argument at 7:54 p.m., a woman scratched her boyfriend on his neck with her fingernail. The altercation took place in a home on 239th Place Northeast.

Jan. 10

On the fence about it: A person damaged a backyard fence on Southeast 13th Street by climbing over it, which caused the sections to pull apart. The damage was discovered by the resident, who returned home from work at 4:10 p.m. It was determined that the damage will cost under $1,500.

Jan. 12

What a tool: Police were sent to a hazard on Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road at 7:31 a.m. A small batch of hand tools was sitting in the middle of the road. Police guessed that the tools fell out of a vehicle. The tools were collected and are being held under found property at the police station.

Hands up: At 1:45 p.m., a resident of Southeast 20th Street told police that he had been court-ordered to surrender a firearm. He produced paperwork from King County Superior Court confirming this.

Jan. 13

Auto theft: A vehicle was noticed stolen from an apartment complex on Southeast Klahanie Boulevard at 10:05 a.m. The owner went to drive the car and noticed that it was gone. It had last been driven and parked at about 7 p.m. on Jan. 10. The vehicle had been locked, and the owner had had all sets of keys in their possession.
