Ruler of the roost: McNugget’s memory lives on in Issaquah

Issaquah’s beloved late rooster, McNugget, was honored as a sculpture in its honor was unveiled on April 21 in front of the new La-Z-Boy store in Issaquah. The rooster frequented the parking lot at that site before it was killed in a dog attack in 2015. McNugget had been a longtime tourist attraction since it made the parking lot its home in 2002.
