Issaquah girls basketball sweeps regular season series against Newport

The Issaquah girls basketball team picked up a 62-54 win on senior night over the Newport Knights on Jan. 24. At press time, the Eagles sit in first place of the KingCo Crest with an 8-2 record in league play. The 4A KingCo tournament begins on Feb. 7 at Sammamish High School.
