Tanner shines at Mat Classic XXXII

Issaquah’s Carson Tanner placed seventh at 132 pounds at the 4A state wrestling tournament on Feb. 22 at the Tacoma Dome. He defeated Lance Stover of Chiawana, 5-0, to take seventh.

Tanner began his Mat Classic XXXII ride by beating Stover (6-5). He then lost to Aizayah Yacapin of Curtis (19-3), beat Camron Regan of Moses Lake (7-3), lost to Hunter White of Moses Lake (4-3) and then competed for seventh and eighth.
