On Monday, Jan. 20, all local schools and government-operated buildings will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. This includes schools, libraries, city halls and the U.S. Postal Service. They will re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Garbage and recycle will remain on a normal schedule.
