Sammamish group aiming to stop ‘questionable’ city projects

Shame on the City of Sammamish. The Albrechts have lived in their home since 1976. They are in their 70s. They will be forced to leave their home because their property is in the planning area of the Town Center. At most, they can hope to remain in their home while the Town Center project moves forward.

We are a group of concerned citizens. Each of us became involved because of our own neighborhood issues. If the East Lake Sammamish Parkway, Town Center, traffic congestion, quality of life, or any other questionable projects within the City or City Council have you concerned, contact us.

Our temporary contact address is barricade4safety@gmail.com. We are in the midst of setting up a Web site. There should not be stories like the Albrechts in this country, in this state, in this city, and yet stories like this seem to be part of the “norm” here. That is wrong. Please contact us to put a stop to this.

One of our council members stated that the council is working with Redmond and Issaquah on the traffic woes. His concern was that he didn’t want it to become so bad that in the future Sammamish residents would be spitting on their graves. Too late.
