Eagles soccer squad collects bevy of awards

The Issaquah Eagles boys soccer team’s magical 2019 season continues to resonate.

The Eagles, who finished with an 11-4-2 overall record and lost to the Mount Si Wildcats, 3-2, in the 4A state quarterfinals on May 18, saw a sizable portion of their roster earn 4A KingCo honors. Issaquah players earning first-team, all-league 4A KingCo honors were Taiga Crenshaw (midfielder), Jack Higgins (defender) and Charlie Butler (midfielder). Issaquah players collecting second-team, all-league included Josh Lee (midfielder), Gavin Herman (forward) and Ryan Barrett (forward). Players garnering honorable mention were Gage Howard, Dawson Oen, Ryan Touhy and Harrison Oen.
